Support the #singforspences campaign this weekend

A campaign has been launched on Twitter to request that supporters of all our clubs in the RaboDirect Pro12 and Aviva Premiership to sing a round of Stand up for the Ulstermen, after the minute’s silence in the games this weekend.
Great responses have come from the RFU, IRFU and Ulster’s provincial rivals Munster and Leinster. The Supporters Clubs across the countries have rallied around, requesting the music and words for this show of solidarity and respect for the up and coming star of Ulster, Ireland and potentially the Lions.
Leading the charge for this campaign is Trevor Large (@trevorlarge), and his site www.rugbyunited.info.
If you would like to support this great cause you need to know the words! The tune is suspect – The Pet Shop boys and Go West – but the words could not be simpler:
Standup for the Ulstermen,
Standup for the Ulstermen,
Standup for the Ulstermen,
Standup for the Ulstermen! (Repeated)
I hope that you all join in singing this famous Ravenhill anthem, and if you are in Belfast or the Ulster Province on Sunday the 23rd September at 3pm, there will be a memorial service at Ravenhill.

would be great to see if everyone can pull this off and show how rugby is the one and only united sport!
Hi Matt, if you are on twitter, then follow @trevorlarge and rugbyfan1980. Trevor has led this campaign since early last week, there are even rumours of sides putting the words on the big screens. Please remember to mention #singforspences.
Thanks for the support Matt.

Thanks Andrew. Just followed rugbyfan1980 – I’m BallymenaBazza!
Some things are bigger than sport or sporting rivalries and fortunately rugby at large can still remember this.
Although I live in the USA, you can bet I will be in front of the TV singing along with everyone.
Hi Jim, good to hear. Thanks so much. Remember the hash tags #singforspences #SUFTUM
