Six Nations fixtures – Round 2

Stand by for another enthralling weekend of action in the RBS Six Nations.

Wales, on top of the world (well at least the home nations) will host Scotland, who disappointed last week against the French.  Renewed confidence and the partisan home crowd should be enough to see of Matt Williams’ side, but can the Scots fulfil their potential and spring an upset?

Ireland travel to France, which looks likely to be another stage in their miserable journey of late.  Les Bleus were full of invention last week, and the game will be Marc Lievremont’s first in charge at the Stade de France – will Ireland end their nightmare run with a first win in France since Stu Peel knows how long?

And then on Sunday, the English chariot (ambulance) rolls into Rome.  Captain Phil Vickery looks as though he’s joining those on the sidelines, but could that be the boost England needed with Matt Stevens stepping into the breach?  The Italians are more of a worry than usual, but hopefully England’s force and fitness will come through in the end.

Have a good weekend and enjoy the rugby.
