Bath Rugby props David Wilson and David Barnes are among 10 players returning to their clubs after being released from the England squad training to face Argentina at Twickenham on Saturday.
Wilson suffered a neck/shoulder injury against Australia last weekend and Barnes injured a knee in training today. Both will receive further assessment and treatment from the medical team at Bath.
The eight other players released to their clubs were:

Ben Kay (Leicester Tigers)
David Strettle (Harlequins)
Mathew Tait (Sale Sharks)

What does this tell us? Interesting that Crane has gone, and with Foden out, it looks like the Monye experiment could continue.
Looks like Haskell will be starting with Worsley on the bench maybe. I thought Strettle might be in the running as well but clearly not. Shame Deacon isnt on this list.

Why oh why do England drop the flair players like Tait, Foden and Strettle when we didn’t once threaten the Aussie line last week? With a back line of Hodgson, Wilko, Strettle, Geraghty, Tait, Monye and Foden you have a young (except the half backs), exciting backline who can create something from nothing from anywhere on the pitch. We need to start playing positive rugby, its what the SH teams do and is why we are so far behind them.
